This week we're moving across the valley - only a few hundred meters away. Still, it involves lots of packing, paying-up and sorting things out, so I'll resume blogging next week, with some photos of our new place taken with my new (secondhand) Canon lens. Thanks Miranda!

You will really like the 30D. I use canon myself and it's an excellent, versatile camera.

The new lens is heavier than the Sigma I've used for years, but I'm a big fan of the stabilizer, which lets me take lowish-light photos without a tripod.
